Twin Wheels for More Stability and Longer Range

For a more stable ride, go with twin wheels.  They offer a wider contact plane so it's more difficult to fall off.  Great for beginners, you can learn to ride in as little as 15 minutes instead of hours.  These models are also great for navigating those area where you must slow way down, or indoor locations.  Single wheel models require more movement to keep from falling over.  If distance is key, you can't beat the 40 mile range of the Q3.

Battery Choice

130 watt units have a 10 mile range for a 132 lb person on a flat road.
The 170 watt unit has a range of 14 miles.
The 260 watt unit has a range of 28 miles (Q3 only).
The 340 watt unit has a range of 40 miles (Q3 only).
The range will decrease with heavier weight and more hills.

Wheel Size & Weight

The Q1 has 11.6" wheels, while the Q3 and Q5 feature 14.2" wheels.  The Q1 is the lightest, followed by the Q6, and then the Q3.  The dimensions are slightly different on each model, the Q5 is the most narrow and thin, while the Q1 is the shortest.

Safety

Tilting Protection - When Airwheel tilts to over 45° sideways, e.g. when Airwheel turns over, the control system will activate tilting protection. The motor will stall immediately to prevent injuries.

Speed Control - To prevent injuries caused by speeding, Airwheel sets a maximum speed. When the speed exceeds 8mph the front end of the pedal will rise gradually and when the speed exceeds 10mph, the pedal will pose a 10° angle to the leveling surface, which stop you from inclining further to accelerate.

Low Battery Protection - When power level falls lower than 15%, all four lights will blink and the buzzer will beep. The front end of the Pedal will sink to force you to decelerate and eventually stop. Please do not attempt to ride again, otherwise you may suffer a sudden loss of power and fall over.

Power Warning - When the power level falls lower than 15%, all four lights will blink and the buzzer will beep. When the tilting protection activates, the buzzer will launch long beeps and the LED indicator on the power button will flash continuously. The control system will stop you from further accelerating by beeping and rising the front end of pedal
